The Prime Time inter-Conference matchup between Benny and Caleb delivered on it’s promise of being the week’s best matchup, delivering a final that separated the teams by just under 7 points. The win by Caleb moved him to 2 – 0 on the week, and helped push him up into the 4th spot in the standings after Week 7, while Benny split the week going 1 – 1 dropping him from 4th down to 7th in the standings.

The Week 7 inter-Conference matchup between top dog Andrew and Casey wasn’t quite as close as you would like to see a matchup between two playoff teams be, but Andrew was more than happy to collect the win to move to 1 – 1 on the week after dropping his Eagle Conference matchup to Venice. The win did more than just help solidify Andrew atop the leaderboard at 8 – 2, it kept him from entering a 5 team fray at 7 – 3. It was a brutal week for Casey, who ended up going 0 – 2 on the week, losing his Conference matchup as well, dropping him from the 6th spot in the standings entering Week 7 all the way down to the 11th spot heading into Week 8.

Each team doubled up on their weekly results after the inter-Conference tilt between Kevin and Shannon. Kevin came in with momentum from his Conference win, and added to it to finish Week 7 going 2 – 0, though it only resulted in gaining a single spot in the standings. Shannon was happy to find a similar fate, only dropping one spot in the standings after turning in an unfortunate 0 – 2 on the week after dropping his Eagle Conference matchup as well.

Adam used a big inter-Conference win against Matt to go 2 – 0 on the week and put himself in position to knock on the door of the playoffs, rising 13th to 9th coming out of Week 7. Meanwhile, Matt found himself splitting his wins on the week after dropping this matchup, but winning his Conference matchup. Matt was able to mitigate the damage, and even climb a spot in the standings with the loss, but missing out on 2 – 0 gave Andrew sole control of the top spot. The news stays pretty good for Matt, of the 5 teams currently sitting at 7 – 3, he maintains a 50 point lead on the crew.

It was a tough go on the week for Mitch, who took a strike on the week in his lineup, and turned it into a 0 – 2 result in Week 7. The 0 – 2 definitely showed up in the standings, dropping Mitch to .500 on the season, last of the 4 teams sporting the record by nearly 100 points. The 1 – 1 result for Reece helped him tread water, and even move up a spot in the standings, but he still finds himself in a hole 2 games below .500.

The Week 6 League-high score of Tyler helped propel him to a 2 – 0 result on the week after dispatching of Jess in their inter-Conference matchup. The big 2 – 0 paid dividends in the standings, bosting Tyler from outside looking in from 9th place all the way up to 5th after the final whistle. Jess was able to savage a 1 – 1 on the week by way of winning her Eagle Conference matchup, and gaining a spot in the standings, but she still faces a 2 game deficit if she looks to get back to .500.

After losing the closest matchup of Week 7 in Kangaroo Conference, Jack finished the week 1 – 1 after stacking a win against Christian in an inter-Conference matchup that certainly lacked much of the high-scoring drama and intrigue that his Conference game featured. Jack remains the cream of the .500 teams, sporting nearly a 90 point grip on the top position of the group. The result dropped Christian to 0 – 2 for the week, and it may be time to sound the alarm bells after he drops to a total record of 2 – 8. His team sports a decent points total that could help him do some climbing, but the wins have become paramount for him if he has any chance todo that climbing.

The feel-good moment for Lucas, who notched his first win and highest points total of the season in Kangaroo Conference in Week 7 was short lived, as he fell to Venice in their inter-Conference clash. The Conference win wasn’t quite enough to get Lucas out of the 10/20 collar, but it did move him within a game. Venice, meanwhile, powered to a 2 – 0 finish on the week jumping 4 spots in the standings into the final payoff spot coming out of Week 7.

The much-needed signs of life helped propel him up 3 spots in the standings from 19th to 16th, and he’ll look to keep the wins rolling in next week. It was a particularly painful result for Alex, who finished the week 0 – 2 after also dropping his Kangaroo Conference game. The pair of Week 7 losses dropped him 4 positions in the standings, taking him from the final playoff spot all the way down to 12th.

Joseph was only able to muster a 1 – 1 on the week after winding up on the wrong side of his Eagle Conference game. The split result kept him treading water in 18th, exactly where he entered the week.
